Master And Guide College Students’ Social Mentality In Network Age

Network as a new platform of ideological and political education work, its opennessbrings a lot of challenges for Marxism-Leninism ideology that occupies the dominant positionin the field of work. Under the background of network environment and multicultural, theNon-Marxism-Leninism even the Anti-Marxism-Leninism continuously erodes the group ofthe university students. With the deepening of the reform, it inevitably faces the adjustment ofthe interest structure, and causes some deep contradictions, which have brought a lot ofchanges of social mentality for university students. Improving the actual effect of ideologicaland political education work under the network environment will be a new project for higherschool ideological and political workers.The paper firstly introduces the research purpose, research significance, research ideas andrelated research status at home and abroad of college students’ social mentality under thenetwork era; then it expounds the definition and basic characteristics of college students’social mentality and the significance of cultivating college students’ good social mentality.Secondly, through the analysis of the era characteristics of the network environment, itunderstands college students’ performance behavior of social mentality unbalance in thesocial responsibility consciousness, interpersonal relationship, opposition moods of differentclasses and independent thinking ability, and it summarizes the problems existing in thecollege students’ social mentality under network era; then analyzes the causes of theseproblems, mainly from the economic roots, the social roots, the cultural roots, the moral roots,and the cognitive roots these five aspects. Finally, based on these analyses, the paper putsforward the solution to the problems existing in Chinese college students’ social mentality.The paper shows that holding and guiding the social mentality of college students is along-term process, and realizes that the real good mentality education should integrate intoideological and political education. At the same time, in order to help the college students’ all-round development, it is necessary to develop from the real physical space into thenetwork’s virtual space for college students’ ideological and political education work.
