A Comparative Study Of Qiu Jin Tang Heroes And Feminism And Women Thought

Tang Qunying and Qiu Jin was later known as "the twin daughters of Xinhai Revolution", they not only contributed to the revolution, but also promoted the development of modern Chinese women’s liberation movement. Her two-person was the pioneer of feminism in modern China and women education thoughts, their women ideas had become an important part of modern Chinese women liberation thoughts.In recent years, the research of Tang Qunying and Qiu Jin grows, but rarely appears comparative research monographs and academic papers, which can put the two persons together under the family background and the development of Chinese women liberation thoughts. The present writer is to know the viewpoint of their feminist thoughts in modern China and women education thoughts based on the profound research, trying to harvest some new achievements. This article mainly consists of six parts:The introduction mainly describes the background and significance of this study in detail and puts forward my own research ideas and methods, based on the expounding and analysing of present research on Tang Qunying and Qiu Jin.The first chapter sketches Tang Qunying’s and Qiu Jin’s famililes and living environment. Through comparing Tang Qunying’s and Qiu Jin’s lifetime and character, introducing their family and living environment in order to explore the original thoughts.The second chapter introduces Tang Qunying’s and Qiu Jin’s formation of feminism and women education thoughts through contrast. According to discussing their change of thoughts before studying abroad and a series of revolutionary activities participated in Japen, researching the two persons’feminism and women education thoughts gradually formed in this period, to analysis the same and differences.The third chapter discusses Tang Qunying’s and Qiu Jin’s content of their feminist thoughts and women education thoughts in details through contrast. This chapter mainly investigates their feminist goals and female education in order to analyze theirs in common; In addition, from the contact of the revolution women’s rights and women education, the way to realize the feminist goals as well as the degree of putting their thoughts into practice, we could obtain the differences.The fourth chapter elaborates the modern significance of Tang Qunying’s and Qiu Jin’s feminism and women education thoughts. Based on the comparison and analysis of previous chapters, this chapter will further summarize and generalize the modern meaning of their thoughts, trying to make these ideas and awareness provide some inspiration to women education and women’s rights issues in today’s China.The conclusion part concludes and abstracts the whole article.
