Chinese language teaching materials is composed by the text systems, helping systems, knowledge systems and practice systems. Exercise system as an important part of the material, has always been the Department’s position which can may be overlooked. Requirements of the college entrance examination to classical Chinese ability is to read the text, grasp the meaning, the subject to make correct, so the Chinese teachers in the teaching of classical Chinese is still the traditional language teaching method--skipping, emphasis is placed on the dredging. This paper takes the discussion and practice of classical Chinese as a fulcrum of research. Analysis through the study and practice of exploring, trying to gain some useful enlightenment on ancient Chinese exercise system to prepare, also hope to caused by language teachers and students about the attention for subsequent study and practice of classical Chinese, and in order to implement the purpose of discussion and exercises, the use of the discussion and exercise is to better guide the teaching of classical Chinese.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part, is a simple introduction to the issues raised and the significance of research and analysis relating to research and study of classical Chinese and practiced.On the basis of this article, using a variety of analytical methods, a comprehensive analysis to study and practice.Part Ⅱ outlines the concept of discussion and practice, and guiding principles related to the status and role. Application of Bruner’s cognitive learning theories and the principle of Anderson’s taxonomy of teaching to analysis the researches and practice.Part Ⅲ focuses on classical Chinese teaching and learning objectives and teaching points of view, from the basics of achievement of objectives and targets to achieve two main aspects, analysis study and practice settings with the gap between the classical Chinese teaching objectives.Part Ⅳ is the new curriculum standards in the teaching of classical Chinese based on the requirements and evaluation criteria of, knowledge and capabilities, processes and methods, the emotion, attitude and values in three dimensions to concrete analysis of the study and practice. Getting to three conclusions:Study and practice settings, on the knowledge and abilities, the cultivation of less importance to the language proficiency of students. On the process and methods, with emphasis on comprehension and readers of the text information, Is not conducive to the cultivation of students’ thinking ability and creative spirit. On the emotion, attitude and values, thoughts and grasp the whole focus on articles and macroscopic evaluation, exercise is a mere formality, need to cultivate students’ interest in studying classical Chinese, inside to truly engage students in in-depth understanding of identity.Part v is the conclusion, has a brief overview of the topic as a whole. Generally found disadvantages, feasibility. Hope that attracted the attention of educational workers, providing some references to the teaching of classical Chinese.
