Research On Mobile Phone Usage Behavior Of Junior High Students

With the development of technology and economy, the mobile phones have become important contact tools in people’s daily life, more and more junior high school students begin to use them. The phones have a great impact on student exchanges and learning, meanwhile, which cause many new problems on school education. In order to avoid the negative effects, the reseach studies phone usage behavior in junior high students and has a further understanding of using the new media of the phones among young people.The whole article consists of five parts.The first part is introduction, this part the author introduce the basic study condition about the cell phone usage among junior high school students both China and abroad. Besides, the author analysis the reference books and introduces the concept which will be used in the article.The second part is a survey by questionaires on cell phone usage behavior of the students, the students are from one junior school of Chaoyang. The questionaire includes six aspects, such as mobile phone ownership rates, the most common contact object, consume.The third part is to make up for the lack of the questionaire process and to understand students’extracurricular time, the author interviews students, teachers, and students’parents.The forth part analysis the results of the questionaire and interviews from the positive and negative impacts, in order to provide countermeasures.The last part puts forward the proposals from the different angles of the school, students and their parents, in order to create a good media environment for junior high school students.
