As one of the three big ball, volleyball has a slow development in China.FromChinese women’s volleyball team won a glorious period,for a long time, volleyball ispopular with the masses and students, it is also a strong body, promote solidarity andcollaboration of a course in university sports and healthy options.Along with thesocial economy and culture education rapid development and deepening of sportsteaching method reform, the innovation of college sports and health course becomesmore and more attention.Therefore, the importance of optional volleyball sports andhealth course is self-evident.How to develop good sports in colleges and universities and the health of optionalvolleyball course sports education became the main research topic, the application ofthe choice of teaching methods and teaching methods play a key role in sportsteaching.Basic sports teaching methods include: language teaching, intuitive teaching,decomposition, complete, prevention, and correct the wrong teaching methods,competition and game teaching method.A kind of teaching method has the advantagesof a kind of teaching method, the key lies in how to choose targeted and reasonableuse.Game teaching method with its reasonableness and uniqueness is very attract theeyes of the PE teaching experts at home and abroad in the near future,All in all, gameteaching method is reasonable and competitive, can stimulate students’ learningmotivation, promote the students’ interest in learning, to change students’ learningattitude of organic combination.Volleyball as a netting against team sport project, the application of game teachingmethod in the process of teaching.This study in grade2013of shandong normaluniversity undergraduate course volleyball option class two girls PE and health courseteaching classes for a total of80people (about40people per class) as experimental object, conducted a semester teaching experiment (36class hours),Tentative gamevolleyball option class teaching and college sports and health course teaching to carryon the organic combination.Through consulting literature material and questionnairesurvey and expert interview, using SPSS15.0statistics and logical analysis.Thefollowing conclusions and Suggestions:Conclusion:(1)the game teaching method in college physical education and health in volleyballoption class teaching reasonable utilization achieved good teaching effect, effectivelyimprove the students’ skills of volleyball.(2) the game teaching method of the reasonable use to motivate the students’ physicaleducation learning motivation, improve the interest in sport and physical educationlearning attitude has played a more positive and effective role.(3) the application of game teaching of sports and fitness of optional volleyball coursefor college students to build the active study atmosphere.Recommendation:(1)reasonably arrange the game content and strength.(2)Pay attention to "learning","practice", the unification of the "game".(3)The teaching of the game to let every moment to the safety of the students in thefirst place.(4)In the process of game teaching competition rules and the referee method study.(5)Improve sports teachers’ understanding of game teaching method, method ofreserves, enlarge the range of game teaching method.(6) the game teaching method applied in practical teaching should pay attention toand the combination of traditional teaching methods.
