Transformation Of Western Risk "Governmentality" Pattern And Its Localization Enlightenment

Risk has become a modern society era characteristics. Risk is everywhere. Since1986, Beck was first put forward the concept of "Risk Society", the risk problem has gradually become the focus of scholars to research in various fields. Especially as risk compound and globalization deepening, the global risk problem increasingly grim, the domestic and foreign scholars on the research of the risk problem also slowly becomes rich, and formed several major system theoretical model. Popular in risk research field of western society there are three main categories:the theory of Risk Society represented by Ulrich Beck and Anthony Giddens; the theory of Risk Culture/Symbol represented by Mary Douglas, Wildavsky and Scott Lash using the method of cultural anthropology; the theory of Risk "Governmentality" represented by several postmodern scholars like Ewald, Dean, Lupton eds based on a Foucault thought of "Governmentality" and Modernity. But throughout the domestic scholars’research mainly concentrated in Risk Society theory, Risk Culture theory, Risk System theory and their reality application, the research of Risk "Governmentality" is few data to follow.This paper adopts the research methods of literature reading and comparison analysis to do systematic carding and interpretation on the Western risk "Governmentality" pattern transformation about risk "Governmentality" study. The author placed Western risk "Governmentality" pattern in the whole risk research field, making transformation of "Governmentality" pattern as paper vertical main line, and highlight the characteristics of the study--use "Power" to interpret "Risk", emphasis on relationship between "Power" and "Risk". In order to analyze the power nature and its relationship with knowledge behind modern risk phenomenon, calling for the reflective thinking of society, and puts forward a new risk "Governmentality" pattern what means compound make multiple subject avoid risk together. Combined with the risk status of China in transition period, aims to explore some theoretical guidance and practical strategies coping with the complicated modern social risk in our society.
