From the point of view of specific cognitive level athletes, development ofspecial psychological ability training system, revealing the special psychologicalability, is one of the important topics in the sports psychology today. During exercisein Visual information extraction is a basic psychological support, Visual informationextraction of different patterns may reflect differences between the sports ability ofelite athletes and novices.This study attempts to basketball as the breakthrough point, jumpers cognitivefeatures of eye movements as the core, to learn from cognitive psychology,experimental methods and means, take advantage of the ASL Eye Tracker6000-typeeye moving logger to understand basketball athletes and college studentscharacteristics of visual information. Research using expert-novice paradigms,records were first fixation duration, fixation duration times, looking at the number ofeye movement indicators to identify the difference between a basketball player andcollege students explore the law of the cognitive features of eye movements revealBasketball the athletes gaze information and visual search.The study found that basketball players are more detailed picture informationprocessing, their first fixation point and times watching point of time than theordinary college students long, watching less frequently than ordinary collegestudents, the saccade distance compared to ordinary college students no significantdifference. Basketball player watched more mainly in wrists, elbows, shoulders, waist,knees and feet, important information the district has more visual attention. Studieshave shown that eye movement analysis method for the study of the basketballsport-specific cognitive characteristics able to test different levels of informationprocessing for effective assessment reflects the expert cognitive processingadvantages.
