The Research On Relations Of Master’s Differentiation Of Self，Self-supporting Personality And Social Adaptiveness

As an important effective factor of sound in body and mind and future development ofindividual’s growing up, differentiation of self is becoming a theory that the researchers pay more and moreattention to.Differentiation of self is a kind of ability that can distinguish sentiment from sense. Recently,the researches about differentiation of self of aboard increase year by year. In domestic, especially in themainland area, the researches are not comprehensive. The objects of study are mainly middle schoolstudent and undergraduate student, but a fat lot of the graduate student.With the enrollment expansion of the graduate, the psychological problems of the graduates aremore and more remarkable and concerned by the researchers. So the research has important theoretical andrealistic significance.The object of the research is graduate student. The writer revises the differentiation of self scalethat is suitable for the graduate student in our country, and uses it with self-supporting scale and socialadaptiveness scale as research tool to observe the difference of the different demography varieties of thedifferentiation of self’s level and the intermediary role of the self-supporting personality betweendifferentiation of self and social adaptive faculty. The conclusions are following:(1) There are4dimensions in the revising the differentiation of self scale, which are emotionalcutoff, emotional reactivity,fusion with others and i-position. The questionnaire reaches the standard ofpsychological measurement and can be used as a measure tool.(2) Through the investigation of the difference of the different demography varieties of thedifferentiation of self’s level, the writer finds out that the varieties of grade, structure of family and workexperience have no significant differences, but the varieties of sexual distinction, homeplace, major andwhether the only child or not have significant differences.(3) In the research on the relationship between differentiation of self and social adaptiveness, thewriter finds out that there is positive correlation between the total points and each dimension ofdifferentiation of self and social adaptiveness.(4) Self-supporting personality plays an intermediary role between differentiation of self and social adaptiveness. That is to say, differentiation of self can affect social adaptiveness throughself-supporting personality.
