We must need young people to learn to survive in the world which filled with varieties of images, words and voices". In1982, UNESCO put forward a few suggestions to express their dissatisfaction with the proliferation of information. At the same time, it’s also let us realized how urgency and importance of media literacy education on young people. It must be regarded as the key elements of the future school education.Under this background, media literacy education homeopathy is to save the image appears in the upheaval of the times. Currently, media literacy education has become a national or parts of the country the formal primary and secondary education programs. In the process of media literacy education and the integration of various disciplines, language subjects because of its unique disciplinary nature become the most important carrier of the penetration of media literacy and media literacy education. After a long practice accumulated, developing students’ listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, and to increase media literacy and media production capacity are included in teaching content of the language classroom.Because of an important practical significance of the media literacy education, the media literacy in the teaching process is penetrated by a breakthrough of Chinese reading teaching. On the one hand, the results of previous studies and related concepts are combed in this thesis. Then, it has a certain degree of theoretical innovation on this basis. On the other hand, foreign experiences are learned and advanced localized thinking at the same time. Media literacy is attempted to explore how to penetrate in Chinese reading teaching. The method is provided for the teaching. The thesis is divided into four parts:Chapter1focuses on media literacy education research status, specific and in-depth exposition of the theoretical basis and one of the key concepts involved;Chapter2and Chapter3discuss the relationship between language reading and media literacy, respectively, from the two levels of language courses and teaching of reading. And by drawing on the basis of some of the provisions of the "media literacy" in the foreign language curriculum standards, the common features are interpreted;Based on the practice, Chapter4describes and analyzes the path and method of implementation of media literacy education in Chinese teaching. In the progress of the summary and the inquiry of the teaching methods, symbolic analysis and questioning method are used commonly. Good teaching effect is achieved to carry on media literacy education in this common path.At present, the discussion of the relationship between language subjects and media literacy education is unusual domestically. However, research on the relationship of the teaching of reading and media literacy education is one of the few. The specific implementation path and teaching methods about this are even more serious shortage. It is the foothold of the thesis. Media literacy is the new direction of Chinese reading teaching. The specific and feasible practices are focused on. The inadequacies of the study are certainly inevitable. A certain reference value for the future direction of research and practice can be achieved.
