Study Thought Of "Buddha Scriptures" And Bodhisattva

As the Mahayana sutras, Karmavaraapratiprasrabdhi summarizes exclusively the thought of the bodhisattva-carya. This Buddhist scriptures was translated for five times from later Qin to Northern Song Dynasty, which increased gradually not only in length and volume number of paper, but also in the perfection of bodhisattva-carya’s content.So we must study it specifically if we want to have a more profound understanding in the system of bodhisattva-carya. In addition, having compared the different thoughts in the practices of the bodhisattva between Karmavaraapratipras rabdhi and other ideas in period of Mahayana Buddhism, we found that there is various perplexing relationship between them.Firstly, this article begins with a word of "Bodhisattva" and tries to find the origin of early Buddhism. Through the early Buddhist literature, we know that Bodhisattva in the early stage is different from the period of Mahayana Buddhism, but there have all kinds of connections with relationship in there differences. Another point is when the Buddhism reaches the period of sect, each school in order to perfect their own ideological system and enrich the concept of Bodhisattva directly or indirectly. Therefore, it promotes the further steps in development of Bodhisattva’s thought and it lays the theoretical foundation for raise of Mahayana Buddhism.Secondly, with the continuous development of Mahayana Buddhism, it is necessary to sum up the perfect system of Bodhisattva’s thought system, which it becomes the requirement of historical development after the thought and the practices of the bodhisattva became more enterpriser. Then the Karmavaraapratiprasrabdhi had been created. We know that the ideological system of the Karmavaraapratiprasrabdhi is the same as others in order to attain Bodhi and achieve Buddhahood, but the unique is its’ distinctive thought.Finally, having compared the different thoughts in the practices of the bodhisattva between Karmavaraapratiprasrabdhi and other ideas, we know that the thoughts of the practices of the bodhisattva in Karmavaranapratiprasrabdhi are more theoretical and abstract than others. It presents bi-influence in the interaction with other ideas, which is a theory to guide the practice and the practice reacts to the theory. That not only develops the theory of bodhisattva-carya in Mahayana Buddhism, but also creates far-reaching significance in other thoughts of Mahayana Buddhist.
