| Objective:By studying the classification and distribution of pediatric stagnation disease, and investigating the relevant factors for it, to provide the theoretical foundation for prevention and treatment of pediatric stagnation disease.Research Methods:Choosing300children with pediatric stagnation disease and100children with no pediatric stagnation disease who were in pediatric clinic or at the in-patient department of the Zhejiang Province Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine between October,2012and August,2013. Using the form of self-designed questionnaire to record names, genders, age, related factors, the onset symptoms and so on of the children respectively. Using the statistical methods of frequency, x2, rank sum test, cluster analysis and Logistic regression analysis to analysis the data, and finally summarize the classification and distribution of the pediatric stagnation disease and the related factors which caused the pediatric stagnation disease.Research Results:1. The pediatric stagnation disease mainly occured on the children between the age of3and6, and there were no differences on the distribution of ages between boys and girls (P>0.05);2. The ratio of boys and girls with pediatric stagnation disease is1.5:1;3. The conditions for the classification and distribution of pediatric stagnation disease:simple pediatric stagnation disease is88cases (29.3%), pediatric stagnation of heat disease is99cases (33.0%), pediatric stagnation disease with injury spleen is108cases (36.0%);4. The related factors for pediatric stagnation disease:the incidence is closely related to the forced feeding> usually susceptible> preference for snacks. Conclusions:TCM syndrome of pediatric stagnation disease includes simple pediatric stagnation disease, pediatric stagnation of heat disease and pediatric stagnation disease with injury spleen which is more in clinical manifestation. The related factors for pediatric stagnation disease are mainly the forced feeding which is the most common in clinical manifestation, usually susceptible and preference for snacks. |
