Cents Needle In Shaoyang Meridian Clinical Efficacy Of Migraine Without Aura

Migraine without aura is a common disease in clinic, which brings several minutes or several hours headache on one side,companied with symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, photophobia and phonophobia.At present,the pathogenesis has not been clear yet. Due to its recurrence and refractory, the disease has become a huge obstacle to quality of patients’daily life. Thus, scholars from different aspects has made study of its cause, cure and prevention.ObjectiveTo observe the therapeutic effect of point-through-point method acupuncture on Shaoyang meridian,compared with the group of flunarizine hydrochloride, conclude and evaluate the therapeutic effect of two groups.MethodsDiagnose patients who have migraine without aura through western diagnostic criteria, then randomly divide72eligible patients into two group, point-through-point method acupuncture group as treatment and flunarizine hydrochloride group as control-of36cases each.The treatment group is given acupuncture3times a week, and retaining needle for30minutes each time.The control group is given oral flunarizine hydrochloride capsules for10mg, once every night before bedtime. One week is for one course of treatment. Two groups of patients are given one course before the review. The patients’review is graded,main and secondary symptoms respectively, by visual analogue scale (VAS score), symptoms scoring method, and TCM migraine symptoms score. Find out the changes of patients’condition by comparing the grades before with after the treatment, and evaluate the clinical effects.ResultsClinical cases of72cases collected,71cases observed, one case lost. Among them,36cases were in treatment group and35cases were in control group. Treatment of migraine without aura symptoms:1. Compared two group on immediate analgesia effect1hour after the treatment,the effective rate of treatment group was100%, which had significant difference from57.14%of control group.2. Compared on Symptom score before and after the treatment,9casesis cured in treatment group,13cases marked significant difference,12cases shown effective,2cases ineffective. The total effective rate is96.43%.In control group,2cases marked significant difference,25shown effective,8ineffective. The total effective rate is77.14%.Compared on total effective rate, treatment group is greatly different from control group.3. Compared on TCM symptoms before and after the treatment, the total effective rate of treatment group is97.22%, higher than that of control group, which is85.72%.Conclusion1. Point-through-point method acupuncture on Shaoyang meridian has considerable immediate analgesia effect.2. Point-through-point method acupuncture on Shaoyang meridian treatment of migraine without aura has fine clinical effect.3. During the treating period, no adverse reaction occurs, which has good security.
