The MST of treated group did not come, the MST of control group was42.5months,(P>0.05). Further analysis by stratified the result with clinical stage, the MST of two groups from the patients of stage II were not come,(P>0.05); the MST of two groups from the patients of stage III were38.8months vs.27.6months,(P<0.05), the MST of two groups from the patients of stage IV were19.5months vs.6.7months,(P<0.05). The treatment group has advantages in improve the quality of life and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions than the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:the colorectal cancer patient accept the TCM treatment can prolong the survival time better than chemotherapy alone, especially in advanced patients, It can also improving the quality of life and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions better than chemotherapy alone.
