Title Clinical observation of two internal fixation methods of treatment of distal femoral fractures. Objective Through the collection of clinical Invasive Stabilization System (LISS) with retrograde interlocking intramedullary nail (GSH) treatment of distal femoral fractures cases, the clinical efficacy of the comparative analysis of two internal fixation and objectively assess and explain the twointernal fixation clinical efficacy difference to explore their own strengths and weaknesses, to sum up the experience in the treatment of distal femoral fractures, try to provide decision references and suggestions for the clinical treatment of distal femoral fractures. Methods March2011-2012September Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,The Orthopaedic Hospital of Sichuan provence, The Hospital of tianquanxian of Chinese Medicine collection of53patients met the inclusion criteria cases of distal femoral fractures,27patients with retrograde interlocking intramedullary nail(GSH) treatment,26patients with invasive stabilization system (LISS) treatment, access to patient records, department archive, telephone follow-up review of X-ray observed and recorded the patient’s surgical time, blood loss and other indicators, follow-up time of fracture healing complications, limb knee function recovery (HSS score standards to be assessed) and other indicators, the data collected for statistical analysis, evaluation of two different clinical effect of the treatment. Results Operation time, blood loss, fracture healing time compares GSH group than in the LISS group short operation time, less bleeding, fracture healing time is short, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); soft tissue infectionsnonunion or delayed union of postoperative complications comparison, Liss group postoperative complication rate is lower than GSH group, but the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05); limb after knee function recovery(HSS score standard assessment), the the LISS group of excellent rate slightly higher than the GSH group, but the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05).Conclusion GSH or LISS treatment of type A distal femoral and C1C2fracture can achieve satisfactory results, no significant difference in overall efficacy, but GSH ratio the LISS has a short operation time, less bleeding, fracture healing time is short and other advantages,LISS in the incidence of postoperative complications and recovery of joint function has some advantages compared with GSH.
