| Seedling cold tolerance of rice (Oryza sativa L.) can improveseedling establishment in paddy rice field sowed by direct-seeding method.The purpose of this study were to detect elite alleles associated withcold tolerance of germination andseedling from Asia rice varieties. Thegenotyping data of119SSR markers were used in the investigation of thewhole gene. The association analysis between SSR loci and the coldtolerance was performed using General Linear Model program in Tassel.Elite alleles were selected by the result of comparisons on the averagephenotypic between the accessions of specific allele and that of the“null alleleâ€.Sixteen SSR loci associated with germination coldtolerance were detected. Twenty elite alleles were mined. Eighteen SSRloci associated with seedling cold tolerance were detected. Twenty-oneelite alleles were mined. |
