Digital Color Theory And Application

Since the20th century, computer graphics has been gradually applied to the field ofgraphic design. And color, as an important design factor, basically achieves full digitization,which is based on computer technology.With the expanding application and development ofdigital color, a few problems arise. Therefore it is extremely necessary to carry out a researchon digital color theory and its application. This thesis analyzes the development of Chineseclassic color, the characteristics of the development of digital color, and the existing problems.In addition it surveys, analyzes and compares the advanced theory and research achievements inthe field of domestic investigation with reference to a lot of related books, classic color theory,various data such as digital technology literature to explore the direction of the development ofChinese digital color, which is expected to have guiding significance for the development ofdigital color in our country.This thesis consists of five chapters. First chapter carries on the discussion on the conceptof digital color itself, and the digital color to illustrate the present research situation at homeand abroad.Second and third chapters for color system, digital graphics, expounds the relevant theoryof digital color system, which summarizes the digital color compared with the traditional classiccolors, the means of digital color for instructions, and conducted comparative analysis ofcommonly used digital color model transformation, and digital graphics and digital storage andresembling.Fourth and fifth chapters put forward the digital characteristics and using the method ofcolor design, namely the methodology. Discusses how to reflect digital color, use color in thedesign, and focus on the application of digital color in graphic design are summarized.
