| Chinese Medicine catharsis is a common external treatment which pours the medicine into the anus and rectum to cure the diseases. From catharsis which was used to treat dryness of the intestines and coprostasis was recorded in SHANGHANLUN, successive dynasties doctors have been developed it into a clinical treatment of giving medicine through anus.This paper focused on theory research and experiment study. It also deeply discussed the theory foundation and action mechanism of catharsis in treating chronic renal failure.In theory research, this paper summarized the successive changes, derivation, effect variation of catharsis. This method, as a effective treatment, has effects on lubricating intestines, relaxing the bowels, killing insect, leaking hot, getting rid of the accumulation and etc. Now it has gradually developedo cure total body diseases. On the basic of clinical availability about chronic renal failure, this paper reviewed the Chinese Medicine recognization about it. Because of interior turbid poison always goes with the development of chronic renal failure, this paper put forward a working hypothesis that catharsis can not only get rid of the accumulation, but also discard the toxin. By using general prescriptions and contemporary experiment technology, it deeply discussed the effect and mechanism of catharsis on treating chronic renal failure.In experiment study, first, by using chronic renal failure animal models on whole level, this paper tried to confirm the effect of catharsis to discard the envenom. As a result, it demonstrated that this method can discard the creatinine and urea nitrogen of the blood. And it can also strengthen the function of discarding envenom from excrement. Its function relates to physic liquor concentration and osmotic pressure. So catharsis is used to cure the chronic renal failure not only it has related to increasing enteric cavity osmotic pressure to purgation, but also complicated pharmacological effect. Physic liquor concentration at 2.5g/ml has the best effect.Second, after whole level experiment finished, rat intestines sections of each group was selected to have a filt toxic research. It is resulted the permeability of rat intestines sections has altered by clystering physic liquor stimulation. And the effect of physic liquor on permeability is better than the normal saline’s, that is, the permeability of intestines is related to the osmotic pressure. From this research, it also interprets the hypothesis that catharsis can discard the toxin. |
