The Clinical Research Of The Modified Jiuwei Hushen Prescription To The Syndrome Of Deficiency Of Qi-Yin And Damp-Heat Of â…¤ Expect Of Diabetic Nephropathy

We abstracted the conclusion during the long time clinical practice that thepathogenesis of DN is BEN-deficiency and BIAO-excess. BEN-deficiency includes Qi,Blood, Yin and Yang-dificiency. BAO-excess includes phlegm, damp-heat and blood-stasis,We find the Qi, Yin- deficiency and damp-heat are much more in the pathogenesis of DN.Doctor feng has established Jiuwei Hushen Prescription to treat DN. We do the clinicalresearch to evaluate the efficacy of Jiuwei Hushen Prescription in treating the syndrome ofdeficiency ofQi -Yin and damp-heat of Vexpect of DN.Objective: To observe the curative effect and safety of Modified Jiuwei HushenPrescription to Diabetic Nephropathy(DN)on the hasis of hasic therapy, especially thefunctions of lowering Bun and Scr, improving renal function and reducing albumin, andcompare with the basic therapy. To explore the mechanism and offer the scientific basis forthe further improvement and clinic application of Modified Jiuwei Hushen Prescription.Methods: 40 cases of DN, who belong to the symptom-complex of deficiency of Qi-Yin and damp-heat are randomly divided into treatment group and comparison group. Thepatients in the treatment group take Modified Jiuwei Hushen Prescription on the basis ofbasic therapy, while the patients in the comparison group are just treated with basic therapy.After four weeks, we compare the differences between groups, including the symptoms andrelevant clinical parameters, and study the data with statistical analyses.Results: 1. The total clinical effective rate of treatment group, 90.90％, with statisticalanalysis, is better than that of comparison group(61.11％). 2.The effective rate of treatmentgroup in the symptom-signs, 95.45％, is much better than that of comparison group(72.22％)with statistical analysis. 3.Both treatment group and comparison group have showedstatistical significance in terms of reduction of Blood urea nitrogen (BUN), Scr, eGFR andprotein content in 24 hours’ urine and there is significant difference between the treat group and thecontrol group. There is no significant difference between the treat group and the control group interms of reduction of FPG and 2HPG.Conclusions: 1. Taking Modified Jiuwei Hushen Prescription on the basis of basic therapy can significantly improve the clinical effect of DN, and alleviate the clinicalsymptoms, such as lumbago, polyuria, dizziness, thirst, lassitude, deficiency of vital energyand so on. Taking Modified Jiuwei Hushen Prescription can improvement the function ofkidney. It is worth to use in clinic.
