Objective To discuss the reason of iatrogenic bile duct injury and the principle ofmanagement.Methods From January2002to December2012, sixty eight cases of iatrogenic bileduct injury were admitted into Department of Surgery, Our hospital.67cases werecaused by cholecystectomy,33cases were caused by laparoscopic cholecystectomy,34cases were caused by open cholecystectomy.65cases were transferred from otherhospitals, others were ourselves.Results All cases were performed re-operation. Of3our patients,One patient wasperformed Roux-en-Y biliaryenterostomy, and two received end-to-end anastomosiswith T-tube drainage of our patients. Of65transferred patients,21cases were bileleakage type and44cases were obstruction type.20cases of them were re-obstructionafter repairing. Roux-en-Y biliaryenterostomy were performed to64cases, and U-tubedrainage was performed to only one case. All patients were followed up with1-11years.Besides one dead, the other67patients have had well effects in short and long term.Conclusion To reconstruct iatrogenic bile duct injury,we should grasp the optimaltiming of surgery, pay attention to the details of the operation and chose the reasonablerepair methods, Roux-en-Y biliaryenterostomy is a reliable kind of operation.
