Cervical total disc replacement (TDR) with Mobi-C encourages quick return to work rates participations and activity profiles overall Quality of life increases.Study Design This is a uni-center, prospective, and non-comparative study.Object Cervical total disc replacement (TDR) is intended to treat neurological symptoms and neck pain associated with degeneration of inter-vertebral discs in the cervical spine, well proven superior to50years old practice of Anterior cervical disectomy and fusion (ACDF). It has well stablished composite endpoints components superiority in improvement of NDI, secondary surgeries neurological status Radiological assessments and Adverse events in treatment of degenerative disc disease (DDD) at a single level of the cervical spine, few studies have focused on the safety and efficacy of TDR for treatment of2levels of the cervical spine. The primary objective of this study was to rigorously appreciate its clinical end points such as return to work and participations which is not well documented.This study is in line with better radiological results translated into better clinical outcome within the time limit of study with better quality of life as the job of orthopedican is to improve quality of life not merely successful surgery.Methods A well known SF-36QUESTIONNAIRE adapted for Chinese population in hong kong which measures the health related quality of life (HRQOL) was introduced to investigate the health status and management of clinical conditions and attendance of social integration..occupation, autonomy,driving,sentimental relationship and perceived quality of life in TDR population3years after the replacement with Mobi-CResults Respondents were87; out of which48(55.17%)questionnaires were completed and returned for analysis. The present audit demonstrated that patients feedback is good with male41.67%and Female58.33%A T follow Up42.2%still held their jobs and69%drove the vehicles which ranges from Electric bicycle to private cars.The movement of people was also studied in terms of possession of a bus card which the government allowed for free transportation of its elderly population in Shandong province.the results showed that for the68.2%of respondents, the attendance of friends, relatives and colleagues during the free time (national holidays) was the same or increased with the time before the disease where as31.8%showed decreased, the amount of time52.1%of respondent left home was the same or increased compare with before the Mobi-C replacement, where as50.6%of the respondent said that the time they were engaged in hobbies(activity profile) was either the same or increased.Conclusion TDR populations who perceived their QoL as being higher and whose attendance, autonomy and activity profile was increased in respect to hobbies,were mainly Men with an age range between36and56years, married, non smokers,non drinkers. regarding the amount of time dedicated to practicing sports, the only difference was the most of that respondents who indicated a decrease were women.
