Objective: A meta-analysis evaluates the efficacy and safety ofultrasound-guided transvaginal gestational sac injection methotrexate andintramuscular methotrexate for cesarean scar pregnancy(CSP) byRevMan5.0and STATA12.0sorwares.Method: Search strategy was developed in accordance with therequirements of the Cochrane Collaboration Handbook. Databases wassearched,including PubMed, EMBASE, OVID, Cochrane, ScienceDirect,EBSCO, CNKI, CBMDISC, VIP and Clin resource systems wassearched, along with manual and other retrieval. Randomized controlledtrials which are evaluated of the different administration route ofmethotrexate treatment for CSP from1978to in December2013wascollected.RevMan5.1and STATA12.0sorwares were used for Statisticalanalysis.Result:1611literatures was searched firstly, only12randomizedcontrolled trials met the inclusion criteria and421patients in total.Meta-analysis showed that there were significant differences in treatmentefficiency, blood human chorionic gonadotropin(HCG) approaching normal time, gestational sac disappearance time,and mild side effects (P<0.05); there were no significant differences in severe adverse effects (P>0.05).Conclusion: Compared with intramuscular MTX, ultrasound-guidedtransvaginal gestational sac injection methotrexate for CSP appeared tohave more advantages and may be a priority option....
