Objectives:To explore the incidence pattern and population characteristics of fever respiratory syndrome cases in Lanzhou during2010-2013; To describe the positive rate and their distribution of six common virus pathogens of fever respiratory syndrome so as to provide theoretical basis for disease prevention and control department to develop and implement the prevention and control strategies of respiratory diseases, to accelerate the establishment of network technology platform of communicable disease surveillance laboratory, and to promote the capabilities of infectious disease surveillance emergency response in Gansu province.Methods:Through "infectious diseases monitoring technology platform information management system",1461cases with fever respiratory syndrome during2010-2013were collected from various branches at three sentinel hospitals in Lanzhou(Gansu Provincial Hospital,Lanzhou University First Hospital and Lanzhou University Second Hospital) including internal medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, emergency service, fever clinics respiratory,ICU,and infectious disease department. A descriptive epidemiology method was used to analyze the epidemiologic characteristics of cases and six viruses including influenza virus (Flu), parainfluenza virus (PIV), respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), adenovirus (Adv), human coronavirus (HCoV) and human metapneumovirus (hMPV).Results:(1) In three sentinel hospitals in Lanzhou,1461cases of fever respiratory syndrome were reported and six virus pathogens in1054cases were determined during2010-2013, the detection rate was72.14%;(2) Popular time of fever respiratory syndrome happened muchly from January to March and October to December. The ratio between outpatient cases and inpatient cases was0.48:1. The sex ratio was1.78:1.The median onset age was15. The constituent ratio in top three age groups (0~,15-and≥65years) were21.49%,16.02%和13.62%. The major symptoms were fever and cough;(3)238positive cases with any one kind of six pathogens at least were detected. The total positive rate was22.58%. Multiple infection rate was1.33%. The positive rates of Flu, PIV, RSV, Adv, hMPV and HCoV was16.89%,1.14%,3.23%,0.95%,0.76%和1.23%respectively. The ratio of positive rate between outpatient and inpatient was1.20:1. The sex ratio of positive rate was0.91:1. The median infection age was19.The positive rates of0~,3~ and4~years old groups were31.67%,27.81%and26.67%respectively;(4) Multiple infection rate was1.33%. The ratio of positive rates between outpatient and inpatient was0.13:1. The sex ratio e was0.78:1.The median age was5.Conclusions:(1) Popular time of fever respiratory syndrome happens muchly in spring and winter during2010-2013in Lanzhou. There are no significant differences between outpatient and inpatient, also between in male and in female;(2) Flu virus was the major pathogeny in outpatient cases, and RSV, PIV, Adv, hMPV and HCoV were the major pathogenies in inpatient cases;(3) Flu and HCoV were the major virus pathogenies in adult. RSV, PIV, Adv and hMPV were the main viruse pathogenies in child,especially in the group of0-years old;(4)The major symptoms of fever respiratory syndrome cases were fever and cough. The systemic symptom and pharyngalgia were obvious in Flu cases. hMPV infection cases often appear the symptom of dyspnea. Infants with RSV infection often appear diarrhea and HCoV infection cases always suffer chest pain, ecphysesis and dyspnea. |
