Treatment Strategies Of Stanford B Aortic Dissection

Objective: The optimal treatment for Stanford B dissections remainscontroversial.There is no commonly recepted therapy for Stanford type Baortic dissection so far. According to different disease severity and casefeatures, we take different therapies or operation methods on purpose.Here we analyze the treatment result of Stanford type B aortic dissection.Methods: Retrospective analysis of158patients with Stanford type Baortic dissection, these patients are including male109, female49fromMay2009to April2013. Average age is48.6±10.2years old(37-76yearsold).The group consists60patients taking a conservative therapy withoutoperations by controlling the blood pressure,63patients taking the TEVAR,and35patients undergoing the conventional surgery.Results: Two patients died after admission for48hours. One patientdied3days later after TEVAR in the acute phase because the rupture ofthe aortic dissection.One patient got brain infarction and right limbdyskinesia after TEVAR and finally was treated well after several days’medical and physical treatment. The rest recovered well when theydischarged.Conclusion: According to specific diseases characters, we adoptdifferent therapies separately and have achieved good treatment outcomes.
