Background:Total hip arthroplasty, as the treatment of femoral neck fractures forOld people (over60years of age),has been widely accepted for its abilityto help patients return to normal activities more quickly and avoidlong-term bedridden complications. However, medium and long-termpostoperative recovery condition and patient satisfaction still remainunclear.Purpose:According to the statistics of high paroxysmal age for elder freshfemoral neck fracture, this thesis is to analyze medium and long-termpostoperative recovery differences of total hip arthroplasty, as thetreatment of femoral neck fractures for old people, between the age andoperating methods and to find out patient satisfaction related issues, so asto become the clinical treatment guidance to improve diagnosis andtreatment level of our hospital.Methods:The174patients between40and101ages, who suffered fromfemoral neck fractures and accepted the treatment of artificial hipjoint replacement in China-Japan union hospital of Ji Lin Universityfrom January2009to June2013, were followed up by means of telephone call. As a result,64patients received telephone follow-up, witha36.8percent follow-up rate. And among these patients, male is22,female is42ï¼› total hip replacement arthroplasty is40andhemiarthroplasty is24.According to Womac rating form(which comesfrom orthopaedicscore.), the follow-up records for patients evaluatepostoperative pain on hip joint and the function of hip joint in their dailylives. After analyzing the follow-up records and Womac rating form. This thesis evaluates whether the postoperative recovery of total hiparthroplasty, as the treatment of femoral neck fractures for old people, relates to the age and operating methods and also analyzes patientsatisfaction. After analyzing telephone follow-up records for the174patientsfrom our hospital, this thesis draws the conclusion that High incidence ofage of senior people who suffers from femoral neck fractures is between55and85ages and there is no statistic difference between ages andoperating methods(total hip replacement arthroplasty or hemiarthroplasty)on postoperative recovery. The postoperative womac rating form showsthat23patients achieving the expected effect of postoperative recoverywith great satisfaction grade90to100points;29patients withoutachieving the expected effect of postoperative recovery with limitedsatisfaction and more doubts about abnormal performance of jointpoints grade70to90points; and patients who suffers from Complications combining limb motor dysfunction without any evaluationon postoperative recovery of joint replacement surgery grade under70points.
