Objective:To observe the acupuncture treatment of spleen and kidney type two empty the clinical curative effect of senile dementia.Methods:1.60patients with senile dementia according to random number table method is divided into acupuncture group (treatment group) and western medicine aricept group (control group), treatment group30and control group30people. Treatment group selection of acupuncture treatment,6days for a week, four weeks of continuou streatment; Choose aricept oral western medicine treatment control group, continuous four weeks of treatment.2. Adopt internationally recognized diagnostic standard and therapeutic effect evaluation standard of objective, observe patients before and after the treatment of simple intelligent state (MMSE), daily life ability scale (ADL), TCM syndrome (SDSD) all aspects of the changes.Results:1.Acupuncture group can obviously improve the MMSE scores and ADL scores in patients with AD, improved compared with control group had significant difference (P<0.05).2. Acupuncture group can obviously improve the TCM syndrome score in patients with AD, and to improve the situation is better than that of control group (P<0.05).3. The acupuncture group, the total effective rate was83.33%for the treatment of senile dementia, the control group total effective rate was50%for the treatment of senile dementia, compared two groups have significant difference (P<0.05).Conclusion:1. Acupuncture treatment of spleen kidney both deficiency type of senile dementia efficacy 2. Acupuncture can improve the spleen kidney both deficiency type of senile dementia patients cognitive function and ability of life, and the curative effect is better than aricept control group.3. Acupuncture can improve the spleen kidney both deficiency type of senile dementia patients’TCM syndrome, and the curative effect is better than aricept control group.
