Objective: To discuss the advantages of256~slice spiral CTangiography on detecting coronary anatomy and anomalies.Methods: Collection of the coronary artery imaging data of7026patients who underwent coronary CTA on a256~slice MDCT (BrillianceiCT),Analysis of the left/right dominance type and anomalies of the CoronaryArtery System.Results:For7026cases,right~side dominance type was6048cases(86.1%),left~side dominance type468cases(6.7%),balanced type510cases(7.3%).There are123cases(1.75%%) with coronary artery originating fromthe aortic,included LAC high takeoff44cases,RCA high takeoff28cases,LACand RAC had the same origin and high takeoff were12cases. Anomalousorigin of coronary artery sinus was39cases(0.76%),included LAD from rightsinus4case,RCA from left sinus42case,LCX from right sinus7case.Myocardial bridging was1538cases,about22.09%.Coronary tortuosity was2437,about35.01%. Accessory coronary artery was493cases,about0.56%,single coronary was4cases,about0.06%.Conclusion: The256~slice spiral CT can be used to observe coronaryanomalies of origin,course and distribution better than the previousmethods,which is a noninvasive skill to screen coronary anomalies. Objective: Analysis of the relationship between patients with/withoutcoronary artery tortuosity and clinical factors by256~slice spiral coronary CTangiography.Methods: A total of300patients with suspected coronary heart diseaseunderwent coronary CTA on a256~slice MDCT (Brilliance iCT), including180males and120females, with an average age of54±9years (range29~88years).Divided into two groups according to the patients with or withoutcoronary tortuosity, analysis the differences between their clinical factorssuch as age, gender, smoking, drinking, blood pressure, blood lipids,diabetes, etc.And further explore the relationship between coronary tortuosityand various clinical factors by using Logistic regression method.Result: Of300patients undergoing coronary CTA,123patients hadcoronary tortuosity, the incidence was significantly higher in females andhypertension compared with the without tortuosity(OR=1.025,95%CI1.174~6.618, P<0.05).The incidence of significant coronary stenosis waslower in coronary tortuosity group compared with patients without,coronarytortuosity and stenosis showed an inverse correlation(OR=~1.021,95%CI0.153~0.846, P<0.05).Conclusion: Coronary tortuosity was positively correlated with females and essential hypertension and negatively correlated with coronary heartdisease risk factors other than hypertension outside.It may be a protectivemechanism of the body for high~pressure blood flow. Objective: to retrospectively analyze the CTA data of324coronarywith256layers spiral, and to analyze the impact of coronary tortuosity andstenosis on the function of left cavity.Methods: retrospectively analyze324clinically diagnosed patients withcoronary heart disease,all with256iCT single scan, simultaneously completedimage of coronary and analysis of heart function. Among those, there are168males and156females aged from33to83with an average age of50.72plus or minus10.88. Whether there is tortuosity of coronary in patients isrecorded, and EDV, ESV, SV, EF of patents are measured. According totortuosity with stenosis, tortuosity without stenosis, stenosis withouttortuosity, and normal group, the index of impact of tortuosity and stenosison heart’s function is analyzed.Result: the reduce of tortuosity with stenosis group heart function isdifferent from the extent of tortuosity;different age groups, as well as thegroup of40year olds, all show that patients in coronary tortuosity withstenosis group have high EDV, ESV, SV, the groups of only coronarytortuosity follows, and the group of only stenosis and the normal groupsshow the lowest (<0.05).Conclusion: Discussion:256layers spiral CTA could simultaneouslyanalyze image formation of coronary and heart function, when coronarywith tortuosity or stenosis,heart function reduces. The function of left cavityshows the highest reduce in the group of coronary moderate stenosis. But when moderate stenosis with tortuosity, the reduce of heart function is notobvious, indicating a protective mechanism when heart function of coronarytortuosity is under threat.
