| Objective: To explore the value of platelet PAC-1expression andD-Dimer (D-D) concentration in the early diagnosis by detecting the venousplasma D-D concentration and platelet PAC-1expression rate in patients withlower extremity deep venous thrombosis (DVT).Methods:40cases of DVT diagnosed by color Doppler ultrasound wasthe Experimental Group, including13cases of the central type,14cases ofthe peripheral type and13cases of muscular calf vein thrombosis (MCVT)type;25healthy volunteers served as the Control Group. Latex turbidimetricimmunoassay was used to detect blood plasma D-D concentrations; wholeblood platelet PAC-1expression rates were detected by flow cytometry. Results:The Experimental Group and the Control Group had D-D plasmaconcentration values of9.73±9.25μg/ml and1.54±1.07μg/ml, respectively; The PAC-1expression rates were5.33±1.93%and1.80±1.17%in the twogroups, respectively. There was significant difference in the D-Dconcentration or PAC-1expression rates between the two groups(P<0.01).D-D values of the central, peripheral and MCVT types in theExperimental Group were19.09±10.48μg/ml,6.45±4.42μg/ml and3.90±1.62μg/ml, respectively; the PAC-1expression rates were6.83±2.03%,4.62±1.58%and4.59±1.30%, respectively. The central type D-Dconcentration was significantly(P<0.01) higher than those of the peripheraland MCVT types; The difference of D-D between the peripheral and MCVT types was not statistically significant (P>0.05). In the Experimental Group, the difference of PAC-1expression rates between the central type andperipheral or MCVT type was statistically significant (P<0.01); thedifference of PAC-1expression between the peripheral and MCVT types wasnot statistically significant (P>0.05).Conclusion: Platelet PAC-1expression rates increased in patients withDVT; platelet activation played an important role in the occurrence anddevelopment of DVT. PAC-1could be used as an important referenceparameter for early screening of DVT. PAC-1combined with D-Ddetermination might improve the accuracy of early diagnosis of DVT. |
