The laser is generated by stimulated emission of radiation. It has the features of highbrightness, strong direction, good coherence, high unidirectional and so on.The research ofapplication and use of laser in medicine has been lasting for more than25years, especially inthe field of ophthalmology. The laser has unique feature in eye treatment: because the laserhas many physical effects, such as pressure effect, photothermal effects, electromagneticeffects, etc.. Because retina and tunica pigmentosa have a lot of pigments and can easilyabsorb light and convert into heat energy, so that realize the purpose of laser treatment.Currently ophthalmic laser treatment is mainly used for: solidification neovascularization, sealing of macular leakage points, treatment of fundus; closing of retinal tear, remedy forretinal detachment; excimer laser treatment of refractive errors iridectomy, treatment ofsecondary glaucoma and so on.The design focus is to produce an ophthalmic laser treatment, namely Carl ZeissVISULAS Trion fundus laser reflector. The incident light is reflected to the culture dish filledwith the human eye cells via a45degree reflective coating, thus simulating the laserirradiation on human eye cells and achieving clinical research purposes. By measuring thelaser energy emission from50mw to200mw, taking ten group data per each emissionvalue, and taking the average of these ten values, measuring the different reflectance ofincident laser respectively using the aluminizing high reflective film, silvered metallic highreflective film, multilayered medium high reflective film, and then compare to the reflectivityof the coating film and find that the multilayered medium high reflective film is the most suitable reflective coating for the cultivation of human eye cells, thereby completing theproduction of laser light reflecting device which can be used in clinical studies.
