| The Objective:The purpose is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of the treatment for chronic diarrhea with Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), and find the existing problems in the test in order to provide a reference for the clinical study of chronic diarrhea with TCM.The Methods:The Cochrane library, CBM, CNKI, VIP, WanFang were searched electronically. Relevant journals, academic conference proceedings and the references lists of identified documents were also searched by hand. The quality of include randomized controlled trials was evaluated and meta-analysis was performed random effects model with RevMan5.0.The Results:By reading literatures,59references were screened out according to inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria.There are34pieces that regard Chinese TCM for the intervention group,25pieces regard the combination of TCM and western medicine for the intervention group. The meta-analysis show that traditional Chinese medicine for chronic diarrhea is superior to western medicine in total effective rate, improving symptoms, early potency and reducing the recurrence.2groups of research suggest the presence of heterogeneity, others are heterogeneity inspection homogeneity. Detection of publication bias show that, there differences Meta analysis of research showed there are certain funnel figure asymmetry, so these literatures included in the research may be some published sex bias. Conclusion:Chronic diarrhea treatment clinical curative effect is better than western medicine treatment of Traditional Chinese medicine. But the quality of included literature is not high, so the application for the above conclusion should be prudent. |
