ObjectiveTo explore effect of cerebellar fastigial nucleus electrical stimulation onexpression and the protein level of inflammatory cytokines in hippocampus inrats with post-stroke depression (PSD) model. By observing the fastigialnucleus stimulus intervention after inflammatory cytokine mRNA expressionand protein content, and explore the fastigial nucleus stimulationantidepressant mechanism.MethodsThe healthful SD rats were randomly assigned four groups: control group, stroke group, PSD group and FNS group. The behavioral observation wereobserved and the mRNA expression and protein content of TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6in hippocampus by Real-time PCR and ELISA were detected respectively.ResultsCompared with the control group, The mRNA expression and the proteincontent of TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-6increased in stroke group(P<0.05);Compared with the stroke group, the mRNA expression and the protein contentof TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-6increased in PSD group(P<0.01); Compared with thePSD group, the mRNA expression and the protein content of TNF-α,IL-1β andIL-6decreased in FNS group(P<0.01). Conclusion1、Levels expression and the content of protein of inflammatory cytokinesinduced may further increase or extend the duration of the peak,or increasedin response to the delay in rats of PSD, that is, rats with PSD may exist in vivocytokine Network homeostasis.2、 Cerebellar fastigial nucleus electrical stimulation may reduceexpression and the protein level of inflammatory cytokines in hippocampus ofrats, cytokine network to reach steady state again and Play a role inneuroprotection. Improve depressive symptoms in rats.
