Objective:To evaluate the expression of HIF-1α and CTGF in the endometrium of patients with IUA, and to investigate their possible role in the pathogenesis of IUA.Methods:This research adopts immunohistochemical technique to detect the expressions of HIF-1α and CTGF in the endometrium of60patients with IUA and30non-intrauterine adhesions patientsResults:(1) The expression of HIF-1α in the endometrium with IUAs was higher than in the endometrium of normal uterine cavity,There were statistical differences between of them(P<0.05); The expression of CTGF in the endometrium with IUA was higher than in the endometrium of normal uterine cavity, There were statistical differences between of them(P<0.05).(2) The expression of HIF-1α and CTGF in the endometrium of severe intrauterine adhersions was higer than the endometrium of the moderate intrauterine adhesions, and HIF-1α and CTGF in endometrium of the moderate intrauterine adhesions was also higher than the mild intrauterine adhesions(P<0.05)(3) The expression of HIF-1α was positively correlated with that of CTGF in the patients with IUA(r=0.775,P<0.05)Conclusions:1.The higher expression of HIF-1α and CTGF in endometrium of uterine cavity with IUA suggests that HIF-1α and CTGF may associated with IUA2. The expression of HIF-1α and CTGF are positively correlated with the severity of intrauterine adhesions in patients with IUA, both of them may be involved in the occurrence and development of IUA.3.HIF-1α and CTGF were correlated positively, they may jointly participate in IUA’s formation through mutual effects. |
