Objective: This thesis compare the clinical effects of BLX rotary nickel-titaniumfiles and stainless steel K files in root canal preparation. To observeendodontic interappointment emergencies(IAE) incidence rate and pain level during theroot canal treatment. So that it could provide the experimental basis for the BLX rotarynickel-titanium files used in clinical practice.Methods:40cases of Chronic pulpitis were randomly divided into experimentalgroup and control group. Require good health, no treatment, no pulp stone, noperiodontitis or cracked tooth. Treated by the same dentist, entering into the pulpchamber through enamel with a fissure bur on the painless condition after taken X-ray.Then open the pulp chamber,clean the root canal with barbed broach. Clean root canalwith3%H2O2and0.9%NaCl, probe and set up each root canal channel with10#or15#stainless steel K files and determine the working length with the root canalmeasuring instrument and X-ray. Experimental group: BLX rotary nickel-titanium filesuse crown-down method to root canal preparation. Control group: Stainless steel Kfiles used conventional method for root canal preparation. In the process of preparingroot canal, clean root canal with3%H2O2and0.9%NaCl.Isolated wet,dry rootcanal,use screw conveyor to calcium hydroxide paste into root canal, and temporarilyclose one week with Zinc oxide eugenol. Asked the patient if pain or swelling occurs,timely referral. Lighter symptoms, re-flush dressing; heavier symptoms, open drainageof CP cotton ball. One week later,after no IAE happening, clean root canal,dry it andfill it with gutta-percha and paste. According to clinical and X-ray examinations, wecompare clinical effect of different files by comparing IAE incidence rate and painlevel.Results: In IAE incidence rate, experimental group was5%,control group was30%, so the effect of experimental group was better than control group(P<0.05) and pain grade II grade difference was statistically(P<0.05).Conclusions: The treatment with BLX rotary nickel-titanium files in rootcanal preparation. can reduce IAE significantly and better than stainless steelK files in the pain grade II.
