Objective: In this study, non-invasive24-hour ambulatory blood pressuremonitoring (ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, ABPM), to observe the long-termsmokers with primary hypertension patients characteristics and changes in the circadianrhythm of blood, so as to long-term smokers with primary hypertensionthe preventionand treatment of patients provide a theoretical reference. Methods: We enrolled from February2012to October2012at the Fourth People’sHospital of Shenyang City the cardiovascular medical clinic and hospital patients withessential hypertension,200cases were divided into2groups, A group of100patientswith long-term smoking (smoked>10years the daily smoking30-40sticks) withprimary hypertension crowd; B group of primary hypertension in100patients withnon-smoking A B two groups are in line with the2010"China’s highblood pressureprevention and treatment guidelines in essential hypertension diagnostic criteria. Allpatients underwent24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring the patient’s consent, were disabled antihypertensive drugs1week, its non-invasive24-hour ambulatoryblood pressure monitoring (ABPM), two groups were compared for24h averagesystolic blood pressure (24hSBP),24-hour average diastolic pressure (24hDBP) thediurnal mean systolic blood pressure (dSBP) mean nighttime systolic blood pressure(nSBP), daytime average diastolic blood pressure (dDBP) the night mean diastolicblood pressure (nDBP) and nighttime systolic blood pressure decreased percentage=(average daytime systolic blood pressure-mean systolic blood pressure at night)/average daytime systolic blood pressure×100%Results: long-term smokers with primary hypertensive population (group A)24-hour average systolic blood pressure (24hSBP) a24h mean diastolic blood pressure(24hDBP), daytime average systolic blood pressure (dSBP), mean nighttime systolicblood pressure (nSBP), daytimemean diastolic blood pressure (dDBP), the night mean diastolic blood pressure (nDBP) are higher than the non-smoking essential hypertensiongroups (group B), and there is a statistically significant difference (P <0.05); long-termsmokers with primary hypertensionpercentage lower than the non-smoking population(group A) at night systolic blood pressure decreased essential hypertension groups(group B), there is a significant difference (P <0.05).Conclusion: Long-term smoking can make the average blood pressureof essentialhypertension crowd24h, daytime blood pressure and elevated blood pressure at night, and the long-term smoking population in essential hypertension circadian adjustmentfeature to affect larger, so as soon as possible to promote smoking cessationandlong-acting antihypertensive drugs, thereby reducing the incidence of heart, brain, kidney and other target organ damage.
