| Objective:To describe and explore the influence of minimally invasive TLIF procedures on lumbar sagittal balance comparing to the traditional open TLIF in the treatment of lumbar degenerative disease,The operation time, blood loss, hospital stay were also be analyzed to evaluate the clinical effectiveness. Methods:From february2010to september2012,there are total60cases suffering degenerative lumbar disease, including degenerative lumbar disc herniation stenosis and spondylolisthesis meetting the inclusion criteria of this study..ALL the patients were divided randomly into mini-TLIF group(30eases) and open-TLIF group (30ceases). And they were treated with minimally interbody fusion by MastQuadrant system and traditional open interbody fusion respectively. Observe and compare the two groups of patients with lumbar sagittal parameters changes; The VAS score,ODI score, operation time, blood loss and hospital stay were compared to evaluate the clinical efficacy. Results:All patients were operated successfully, In the mini-TLIF group, the operative time was80-240mins, mean operative time was124±37mins,the blood loss was50-300ml, the average blood loss was156±80ml,the hospital stay was7-12days, average in9±2.5days. In the open TLIF group, the operative time was95-260mins, mean operative time was147±43mins, blood loss was100-500ml, the average blood loss was240±120ml, hospital stay7-15days, average in10.5±1.4days, the difference between groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). Of all the two groups patients, the lumbar lordosis, disc space height, segmentary lumbar lordosis are all be recorved obviously after surgery, however, there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups. Meanwhile, the disc height was more obviously improved in the Cage group the in the noused Cage group.Conclusion:Mini-TLIF and open-TLIF all can recover lumbar sagittal balance effectively, but there was no significant difference between the two groups.Furthermore, the mini-TLIF has the advantages, such as less tissue trauma and blood loss, rapid recovery and so on. |
