Clinical Study Of Pneumatic Lithotripsy Through Ureteroscope For Ureteral Calculi

Purpose：To discuss the treatment、failure causes、prevention of complications and relatedoperationskills of pneumatic lithotripsy through ureteroscope for ureteral calculi.Methods：In the study, we collected and analyzed the clinical datas of141patients withureteral calculi, who were treated in the method of pneumatic lithotripsy throughureteroscope in Urology of Beijing Haidian Hospital from September2010toDecember2012.Results：The success rate of pneumatic lithotripsy through ureteroscope for ureteralcalculi was92.9%(131/141), including34cases of upper ureteral calculi treatedsuccessfully, the success rate was91.8%(34/37); mid-lower ureteral calculi in97cases were treated successfully, the success rate was93.2%(97/104). The stone freerate within4weeks was97.7%(128/131).10cases failed,2cases because of stonesmoved to renal pelvis,8cases because of entry difficult. No serious complications.Conclusion：Pneumatic lithotripsy through ureteroscope is a treatment of high lithotripsyefficacy、satisfactory stone-free rate and low complications.The ureteric calculi maybe treated with Pneumatic lithotripsy through ureteroscope first.
