Objective: To improve early diagnosis and cure rate of Cryptococcusneoformans infection by analyzing the clinical manifestation, auxiliaryexamination results of32cases.Methods: We analyzed32patients with Cryptococcus neoformansInfection by their demography data, clinical baseline, clinical symptoms andsigns, laboratory data, imaging findings and prognosis. These patients werehospitalized from June2011to July2012in our hospital.Results:23cases with Cryptococcal neoformans meningitis,8caseswith pulmonary cryptococcosis and only1case with skin cryptococcalinfection in the32cases,mostly concentrated in harsh living environmentand poor educated.71.9%had lower resistance,mainly in the infection of thecentral nervous system.Clinical manifestations depending on the site ofinfection, but there was no specific.Conclusion: Cryptococcus neoformans infection can occur in severalparts of the body and lack of clinical manifestations and laboratoryexaminations specificity,which is easily misdiagnosed,we should as soon as possible to confirm this disease when we considerateit.meanwhile,we should notice if there is a co-infection in the other site.
