With the surge in car ownership and the increased speed of modem vehicle speed, Theautomobile not only brings great material civilization to human society,but also harm andpain, the road traffic accident has become the world’s first public health problem with therapid development of road traffic accident. In recent ten years, the number of casualties inour country road traffic accident statistics is very huge, especially in head injury, whichcaused the social contradictions, brought increasingly obvious disputes and seriouseconomic loss, has become a serious hazard to public safety and building the harmonioussociety. Therefore, it’s the great significance for reappearancing accidents process, settingup the appropriate protective measures and the incidence of injury.Through the platform of the Chongqing Ba Yi Traffic Accidents Forensic Center ofthe Third Military Medical University, the subject participate in100depth traffic accidentinvestigation of National Vehicle Accident Investigation System (NAIS), and select thetypical brain acceleration injury of vehicle-pedestrian traffic accidents. We can visuallyreappearance the process of traffic accidents by establishing vehicle-pedestrian multi-bodymodel with the multi-body dynamics software MADYOMO. On the basis of the accidentprocess reproduction, we research on the impact acceleration injury biomechanicsmechanisms of the brain, by using the THUMS human brain finite element model of theToyota Technical Center in Japan, and nonlinear software Ls-Dyna to reappearance theprocess of head injury.The research on injury biomechanics mechanism for head impact acceleration injuryis helpful to judge the responsibility of traffic accident, determine the more accuratetolerance limit of brain, and make the risk assessment level of brain injury, which haveimportant practical reference value and more far-reaching significance in automotivepassive safety design, traffic medical engineering development, the depth study of the headinjury biomechanics, and the improvement of traffic protection measures.
