Objectives: In this study, we detected the serum density of CTGF andNT-proBNP in chronic heart failure patients to find their relationship and thefeasibility of the combined detection of CTGF and NT-proBNP. To explore thesignificance of serum CTGF in the clinical diagnose of chronic heart failure, and ifit could be a new marker or the diagnose of chronic heart failure. Methods: Choosing23health person and89different extent patients withchronic heart failure. collect3ml blood of antecubital vein from patients with CCFand healthy individuals respectively. Using EDTA-K2as anticoagulant, separatedthe serum by high-speed centrifuge at2500rpm,4°C for10minutes, afterdispense, saved NT-proBNP and CTGF at-80℃for further test. Theconcentrations of NT-proBNP and CTGF in patients with heart failure and normalcontrol group were measured by ELISA method. Collected related data, using13.0SPSS for statistical analysis, P <0.05can be considered to have statisticallydifference.Results:1. The concentration of serum NT-proBNP is significantly increasedin the CHF group (P<0.05),and it is increased step by step with the severity ofCHF;2.CTGF is obviously increased in the CHF group(P<0.05), and it isincreased along with the severity of CHF;3. The density of CTGF and NT-proBNPare correlated with each other in the CHF patients, both can indicate the severity ofCHF(R~2=0.9833,P<0.05);4.The density of plasma CTGF and NT-proBNP arecorrelated with left ventricular end diastolic dimension positively(R~2=0.7143andR~2=0.6161, P<0.05), but they are negatively correlated with left ventricularejection fraction (R~2=0.7713and R~2=0.7335, P<0.05). Conclusions:1.the serum level of CTGF and NT-proBNP in CHF patient isnegatively correlated with the cardiac function of CHF.2.the serum level ofCTGF and NT-proBNP is negatively correlated with left ventricular ejectionfraction decrease.3. the serum level of CTGF and NT-proBNP is positivelycorrelated with LVEDD and ventricular remodeling.
