Research objectiveIn order to explore the performance evaluation index system of public hospitals,through the screening of public hospital in case the Balanced Scorecard to constructthe performance evaluation index system based on the research as a sample, showedthe characteristics of central tendency and high-frequency indicators throughmeasurement, statistical analysis of the index number, form the representativeness andgeneralisability of the index system of performance evaluation of public hospitals.Research methodThe author adopts the literature research method, literature analysis,statisticalanalysis and expert consultation system to analyse95samples collected from2820index, through the two data mining analysis sample literature sources, literaturecategory, location, evaluation object, evaluation of hospital post, author industry titles,12types of information to determine the sample representative and reliability; throughthe analysis of the sample document index mean, median, mode and index frequencydistribution situation reflects the central tendency of sample index number; throughthe analysis of the correlation between the four dimensions of indicators and differentyears, to reflect the homogeneity and comparability of the dimension of the index.By analyzing the different dimensions of high-frequency indicators in differentyear section (2005~section and2009~section) on the indexes of total frequencycontribution and change trend, to reproduce the characteristics of the times and reflectthe features of each dimension of high-frequency indicators (the new medical reformbackground), through four dimensions weight distribution analysis of49articles, thetrend of concentration reflects the different research set the dimension weights, andthe second level index is formed by classification of the third indicators, and providereference for the selection of performance appraisal index. Results1.95sets of data sources on hospital performance index system based onBalanced Scorecard are highly positive correlation between four different dimensionsand different years.2.95sets of Balanced Scorecard in hospital performance appraisal indicators oftotal mean, median and mode based on respectively30,26and19; the total indexnumber band take25as the center height of the present central tendency.3. The high frequency indicators about2/3of the total frequency by frequencycontribution after2009period.4. Each dimension ranking high frequency index frequency before has obviousadvantages, index frequency distribution shows a peak after the aggregation of gentledownward trend.Conclusions1. Screening of95sets of Balanced Scorecard in hospital performance evaluationindex system based on the statistical analysis showed that the high representative andreliability, suitable as a performance evaluation index system of hospital data source.2. The key factor to the research object based on the indicators of eachdimension frequency level as selection index, the index of grade two class distributioncharacteristics and the characteristics of the times as the important basis, not onlyembodies the design index of the universal principle, and take into account theintegrity principle of index, but also considering the principle of public welfare index.3. The mean, median and mode of sample index number is30,26and19respectively. Which is acted as the standard of index number of three sets of systemdesign, construction of the three set of performance evaluation index system can takeinto account different hospital needs at a certain extent, and provide a reference modelfor public hospital performance appraisal index design.
