Clinical Observation On Quality Of Life Of Advanced Gastrointestinal Malignancy By Fuzheng Huayu Prescription

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Fuzhenghuayu prescription in improving the life quality of Metaphase or Afternoon Enteron Malignancy.Methods:70gastric or colorectal cancer patients in the stage of III or IV were allocated randomly into two groups, cases in the observation group were treated with FOLFOX chemotherapy and the Chinese traditional medicine,the other group were treated with FOLFOX chemotherapy only.The Clinical symptoms,Karnofsky score,QLQ-C30,weights,pain,and the occurrence of hematological toxicity were studied after4weeks.The results:The clinical symptoms,performance status,pain,general health status,weights,less side effect of nausea and vomiting,diarrhea and hematological toxicity in the observation group were better than the control group.But there were no significantly difference in the physical function,social function,emotional function,fatigue,appetite loss in the two groups.The role function,cognitive function,difficulty of breathing,insomnia,and economic difficulties were no significantly improve in the two groups.Conclusion:Fuzhenghuayu formula can improve symptoms,performance status,reduce the side effects of chemotherapy-induced,and improve the life’s quality of patients.
