| Objective:Biopsy technique has been widely used in clinical, but the complicationsafter biopsy such as bleeding and local tumor metastasis cause catastrophicconsequences to patients, we design a new style of biopsy device andtechnology, but there is no experimental data show whether it can achieve thedesired effect. In this study, through the animal experiments, we use of closedpuncture technique implement biopsy and seal the puncture pinhole, thenwe observe whether the closed puncture technique can achieve the seal effect,whether the new style of biopsy is a safe, accurate biopsy technology andequipment with fewer complications compared with traditional bone tumorbiopsy technology.Methods:We create a new style of biopsy device and technology, it overcome thedefect of the traditional biopsy device which cannot seal the puncture pinholetimely. This device can puncture the bone tissue, sampling and close the bonepinhole timely. It include the puncture needle through the sleeve, thesampling tube and the instrument used for sealing the puncture pinhole. Wecall the instrument used for sealing the puncture pinhole as sealing bolt,which made by medical polymer material, can be implanted in the body, andcan be fixed and sealed in puncture hole effectively. Our device can ensurethe sealing bolt is pushed and embedded into the puncture hole throughsleeve unidirectional. Since all the operations are done in the sleeve,thepuncture hole is sealed by the sealing bolt before removing the sleeve, soduring the whole operation, the tissue fluid of the bone hole will notexosmose easily. The puncture device is made by metal materials, it hasmany advantages such as precision, good sealing, and easy to operate, it is also helpful to avoid the exudation during the operation. We use the newstyle of biopsy device and technology on rabbit model to implement biopsy.12cases of adult rabbits are punctured,all the left acetabular bones arepunctured as control group,which use the traditional biopsy method,All theright acetabular bones are punctured as experiment group, which the punctureholes were implanted the bolt through the cannula after the biopsy.5minutesafter the puncture of the two methods,To assess the exudation of thepuncture hole by color Doppler ultra-sound. Statistical process was used bySPSS17.0of statistical software, all the data were indicated by mean±standard deviation (x±s). P<0.05was considered statistically differentbetween of them.Result:The left acetabula and right acetabula of rabbits are comparable, nostatistical difference between the left and right acetabula. There is exudationin some degrees around the puncture hole of all the12cases of left acetabula,the extension of the exudation less than10mm is10cases (83.3%),theextension of the exudation more than10mm is2cases(16,7%). there is noobvious exudation around the puncture hole at all the12cases of rightacetabula, the puncture hole is sealed by the sealing bolt accurately.Conclusions:Using the improved biopsy device and method is able to obtain sufficientpathological organization, and could control the bleeding of the puncture holeby implanting the bolt through the cannula, thereby controlling the localdiffusion of tumor. Since all the operations are done in the cannula,it also canreduce the pollution of the pathological tissue for puncture pipage. Thecannula added on the basis of the traditional puncture device form a channelbetween the tumor and outside. We obtain the tumor tissue in the sleeve,andimplant the bolt to puncture pipage through the cannula,then pull out thesleeve, so we can maximize to maintain the integrity of the boundary betweenthe bone tumor and normal tissue and prevent the local spread of the tumor.Our experiments show that this improved biopsy device and method is simple, safe and available with non-pollution of the puncture pipage. |
