Objective:To detect the level of PP and PPI in the hypertensive disorders complicating pregnancy(HDCP),and toexplore the relationship between the Pulse Pressure (PP), Pulse Pressure index (PPI) and the severity ofHDCP, searching for the value of PP and PPI during the development of HDCP, so that we can offer usefuldata and clue the prevention and treatment of HDCP.Method:Age and gestational age were matched in each group above,no history of high blood pressure, kidneydisease, diabetes, diabetes and liver disease, rheumatic disease, autoimmune disease. The general state ofhealth was reworded. All of them were measured with brachial systolic blood pressure, diastolic bloodpressure, stature, weight, pulse pressure, pulse pressure index, body surface area and body mass index. Atthe same time, patients pre-prandial was examed by routine assay. SPSSl6.0is used for statistical dataanalysis.A1l data are presented In the way of average-1-standard deviation.T test and one-way ANOVAare used in the statistical analysis.P<0.05represents statistically meaningful.Univariate and multivariateunconditional logistic regression were used to analyze associations between the exposure factors and HDCP.And the collinear relationships were removed between the other factors using principal componentanalysis.Result:1.The PP of HDCP groups is (60.20±10.50)mmHg and higher than control groups significantly (t=16.409, P<0.001). Furthermore, the severity of HDCP was associated with increased PP(P<0.05).2.The PPI of HDCP groups is (0.383±0.041),and higher than control groups significantly (t=9.554, P<0.01). Furthermore, the severity of HDCP was associated with increased PP (P <0.05).3. The result was significant multicollinearity among variables. The results of the improved logisticregression showed that HDCP had positive correlation with many factors such as PP,PPI, TG,TC, HDL-C,LDL-C,UA,Scr, UN had negative correlation with HDL-C。Conclusion:1. The levels of PP and PPI are significantly correlated with HDCP and can reflect the condition ofpregnancy induced hypertension. In clinical decisions, we should not only attention to the systolic bloodpressure Diastolic blood pressure, but also the change of pulse pressure.2. PP and PPI were the independent parameter of the severity of HDCP,...
