Objective: To study the drug resistance, integron distribution and gene phenotype ofESBLs in ESBLs-producing Klebsiella pneumonia, and explore the effect of integron tothe drug resistance in ESBLs-producing Klebsiella pneumonia.Methods:500strain of suspicious ESBLs-producing Klebsiella pneumonia wereconfirmed, and received drug sensitive test by method of agar dilution. The genephenotype (blaTEM, blaSHV and blaCTX-M) and integron distribution in ESBLs-producing Klebsiella pneumonia were analyzed by PCR. Drug resistance, integrondistribution and gene phenotype of ESBLs in ESBLs-producing Klebsiella pneumoniawere analyzed.Results:(1) There were368strains (77.2%) in the500strain suspiciousESBLs-producing Klebsiella pneumonia after confirmed.(2) There were200strains(54.35%) with integron of Class I,8strains (2.17%) with integron of Class II and no strainwith integron of Class III in368strains of ESBLs-producing Klebsiella pneumonia.(3)There were158strains (40.93%) with gene of blaSHV,165strains (42.75%) with blaTEM,and173strains (44.82%) with gene of blaCTX-M.(4) There were128strains (81.01%) withintegron of Class I in158strains of ESBLs-producing Klebsiella pneumonia with gene ofblaSHV; there were64strains (81.01%) with integron of Class I in165strains ofESBLs-producing Klebsiella pneumonia with gene of blaTEM; there were74strains (42.77%) with integron of Class I in165strains of ESBLs-producing Klebsiellapneumonia with gene of blaTEM. The proportion of strains with blaSHVwas much higherthan that with blaTEMand blaTEM.(5) The drug resistence to the other8antibiotic wasdifferent in ESBLs-producing Klebsiella pneumonia compared with that in non-ESBLs-producing Klebsiella pneumonia except amikacin, gatifloxacin, ciprofloxacin andlevofloxacin (P <0.01).(6) The drug resistence to the other8antibiotic was different inESBLs-producing Klebsiella pneumonia with integron compared with that inESBLs-producing Klebsiella pneumonia without integron, except ciprofloxacin, cefepime, amikacin, levofloxacin and piperacillin (P <0.01).Conclusion:(1) The drug resistence in ESBLs-producing Klebsiella pneumonia ishigh than that in non-ESBLs-producing Klebsiella pneumonia.(2) The integron inESBLs-producing Klebsiella pneumonia separated from our hospital is mostly class I, andclass II and III is much less.(3) The gene phenotype proportion of ESBLs-producingKlebsiella pneumonia separated from our hospital is a little higher;(4) The integron ofclass I involes the formation of drug resistence in ESBLs-producing Klebsiella pneumonia...
