Research On Meridians Differentiation Methods Of Huangdi Neijing

Treatment according to pattern identification (Bianzheng Lunzhi) is an important method for TCM. Today, the method mostly focuses on the nature of disease, instead of the site of disease. This character is more compatible for TCM than acupuncture, and makes the gap between the theory and clinic in acupuncture finally. To solve the problem, the research on the theory of pattern identification is necessary at first. In Huangdi Neijing, the most important classic of TCM, hundreds of diseases are discussed, and pattern identification methods are the important parts in these discussion. What significant is, most of the diseases are treated by acupuncture. That means we can find ample evidence to rebuilt the pattern identification method for acupuncture in Huangdi Neijing.In this article,5methods of treatment based on syndrome differentiation, including Renying and Cunkou method, Biaoben, Luomai, Food Zu six-channels and the twelve meridians are summary. Each one has influence for the diagnose and treatment in acupuncture clinic.Five methods of treatment based on syndrome differentiation in Huangdi Neijing are deeply analysised in this article. It is valuable for the pattern identification research of acupuncture today. At the same time, it will help to find the rule of acupuncture development, and enhance the effect of acupuncture in clinic.
