Background:Ovarian cancer is a serious threat to women’s life security of the malignant tumor, the mortality rate of malignant tumors of female genital organs in the firs, the drug resistance of tumor cells to chemotherapy is the major cause of low survival rate. In recent years, looking for the reason of multidrug resistance in ovarian cancer is one of our urgent need to solve the problem, it is also the premise of reasonable selection of effective drugs for the treatment of patients with ovarian cancer. The XIAP and Survivin genes as the inhibitor of apoptosis protein family member, has an important role in the regulation of apoptosis in human ovarian cancer pathways, may be an important protein sensitivity of ovarian cancer cells to the chemotherapy, two genes, and the other between hot research between genes and drug resistance of ovarian cancer, and the relationship between in recent years more and more attention.Objective:The purpose of this study is through the review of the literature on XIAP gene and Survivin gene, and the other between hot research between genes and drug resistance of ovarian cancer, and the relationship between receiving increasing attention in recent years is reviewed.Methods:1Application of CNKI retrieval, Wanfang full-text database, Pubmed, Springerlink database retrieval system, with "XIAP gene; Survivin gene; ovarian cancer" as key words, respectively or combined retrieval in2005-2012150related articles.2inclusion criteria:1) basic structure;2) the histological features;3) mechanism;4) drug resistance in ovarian cancer.5) Target gene therapy. According to the inclusion criteria,90papers were selected, and then70papers were finally analyzed.Results:XIAP gene and Survivin gene of apoptosis protein family member, has an important role in the regulation of apoptosis in human ovarian cancer pathways, may be an important protein sensitivity of ovarian cancer chemotherapy cells. Through literature study found, XIAP gene, Survivin gene, the other hot research factor each by its own mechanism is closely related with tumor cells, and has the correlation among these factors, combined with the study on the mechanism of drug resistance in ovarian cancer can be more clear, so as to bring new opportunities for the treatment of ovarian cancer; But there are still many problems unsolved, such as different experimental study results are not consistent, need to be further specified; further research and the relationship between the resistance of ovarian cancer remains; the expression of Survivin and XIAP in different tissues also need further qualitative and quantitative.Conclusions:1. Survivin, XIAP is closely associated with ovarian cancer drug resistance, respectively, after both can improve the sensitivity of tumor cells to chemotherapy drugs.2. Survivin and between XIAP can interact with each other, that is, Survivin can through XIAP BIR structure domain that XIAP remain stable, avoid the generic element or by protease hydrolysis and lose activity, and indirectly play a role of its strong resistance to apoptosis of tumour cells. Prompt and stable inhibiting the expression of XIAP and survivin can better promote the apoptosis of tumor cells.3.Survivin and XIAP in the occurrence and development of ovarian cancer drug resistance plays an important role, is very want to become the new tumor markers and new therapeutic targets in the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of ovarian cancer may has the very high application value.
