Objective: To observe the clinical effect of trace elements zinc in theadjuvant treatment of allergic rhinitis, and to provide a new scheme for thetreatment and prevention of allergic rhinitis.Methods:90patients were collected from January to December in2010,whowere allergic rhinitis and associated with zinc deficiency in the GeneralHospital of Ningxia Medical University. All patients were randomly divided intothree Groups. Each group had30cases.Experimental group:given the fluorinepropionate nasal spray(GSK)+oral zinc chewable tablets(HEALTH CO,LTD);Thecontrol group①:given the fluorine propionate nasal spray; The controlgroup②:given the fluorine propionate nasal spray+oral the azelastinehydrochloride tablets(Guizhou Yunfeng Pharmaceutical). The three groups weretreated for one month. Before and after treatment each one was extracted veinblood about3-5ml:firstly, by Inductively coupled plasma atomic emissionspectrometry to determine the content of serum trace elements Zn、Cu、Ni、Se;secondly,by using IgE type and classification.thirdly, with chi-square testto compare each group signs and symptoms scores, while on the assessment ofadverse reactions after treatment in each group. All data were analyzed by thesoftware of SPSS16.0.Results:After treatment, the experimental group and the control group①andthe control group②,the total effective rate were93%、60%、96%.The experimental group and the control group②had a significant clinic effect. There was nosignificant difference between them.In nasal congestion、nasal itching、thenumber of daily blowing your nose、sneezing and signs of improvement,Theexperimental group and the control group②had no significant difference andsignificantly better than the control group①,P<0.05.The trace elements zincbinding with nasal glucocorticoids could improve the symptoms and signs of ARsignificantly. After treatment, the three groups had no significant difference(P>0.05)in the nose bleeding、nasal dryness、gastrointestinal discomfort and otheradverse reactions. There was a significant difference (P<0.05)in the drowsinessand the dry mouth. It showed that the trace element zinc in adjuvant treatmentof AR higher security. Before and after treatment, the three groups allergen(such as tree combination, mugwort, a combination of dust mites, freshwaterfish combination of1) the serum specific IgE levels, the experimental groupand the control group②there is a statistically significant difference (P<0.05),the control group①no significant difference (P>0.05).It showed thatthe experimental group and the control group②could significantly reduce serumspecific IgE levels.Treatment in the first three sets of serum Zn, Cu, Ni,Se content was no significant difference (P>0.05) after treatment, three groupsof serum Zn content increased to varying degrees, and most significantlyelevated in the experimental group, after treatment. serum Cu content decreasedto varying degrees, with a significant difference (P<0.05) showed that elevatedserum zinc levels was closely related with AR efficacy improve.Conclusion:⑴In this experiment, the comparative study of trace elementszinc adjuvant treatment of allergic rhinitis efficacy, safe, worthy ofclinical.⑵Trace elements zinc adjuvant treatment of allergic rhinitis cansignificantly reduce serum specific IgE levels, and elevated blood zinc content is closely related with AR efficacy improve.⑶Trace elements zinc adjuvanttreatment of allergic rhinitis, determine the efficacy and the patient’s age, ethnicity, gender, classification has nothing to do with a merger of asthmarelationship is unclear and will need further work in this research...
