Study On Transcranial Doppler Ultrasound In Patients With Leukoaraiosis

Objective Research parameter characteristics of transcranial Doppler inpatients with Leukoaraiosis; to explore the correlation of leukoaraiosis andintracranial artery lesions; explore transcranial Doppler ultrasound parameters toreflect the degree of development of Leukoaraiosis.Methods Continuously collect Neurology hospitalized patients of NingxiaMedical University General Hospital subsidiary of cardiovascular andcerebrovascular disease hospital from March2011to December2012,Based onbrain magnetic resonace imaging diagnosis， hospitalization of patients inDepartment of Neurology were divided into LA group(n=60)and controlgroup(n=40)， the risk factors for both groups were generally matched, Fazkas LAvisual scale analysis will used to divided LA group into mild，moderate and severelevel． All enrolled patients underwent inspection of TCD, recording the averageflow velocity(Vm) and (PI),as well as blood flow sound frequency and spectrumof morphological changes of the middle cerebral artery(MCA)， anterior cerebralartery(ACA)， tail internal carotid artery(TICA)， posterior cerebral artery(PCA)，vertebral artery(VA) and basilar artery(BA)．Results Compared with control group， the MCA、 ACA、 TICA blood flowvelocity in the brain of LA was slower, but PI were higher, the difference wasstatistically significant; the PCA、VA、BA had not significant changes in bloodflow velocity and pulse index, the difference was not statistically significant. Moderate compared with severe group, the MCA、ACA、TICA blood flow velocityin the brain of LA was slower, but PI were higher, the difference was statisticallysignificant,as well as mild compared with severe group. Light, medium, heavythree groups of blood flow audio changes have no statistical significance,spectrum morphological changes have statistical significance.Conclusion In patients with LA, the Vm of MCA、ACA、TICA was slower,it was negative correlated with the severity of the LA;the pulsatility indexincreased,it was positively correlated with the severity of the LA; The parameterchanges of Transcranial Doppler ultrasound can reflect the severity of LA.
