Objective1. To investigate the effect of amplitude of blood pressure reduced in acutephase of ischemic stroke and its prognosis.2.To understand the relationship betweenprognosis of patients with differernt reasons that caused the stoke.3. To define therelationship between time to step down with prognosis.4.To clear the effect of age on bloodpressure reduced amplitude and prognosis. Method Included217cases in the FirstAffiliated Hospital of Baotou Medical College in February2011to January2012and theSecond Affiliated Hospital of the incidence of hospitalized patients, within24hours ofischemic stroke patients. In accordance with China Stroke guide line, very from bloodpressure values give antihypertensive treatment or not, to measure blood pressure every6-8hours within7days in the hospital, antihypertensive magnitude queue naturally formed anddivided into5groups. Registrated of patients information in each group and follow-up,recorded general condition of patients, medical history, blood pressure amplitude, treatment, complications and prognosis. Results (1) Changes in blood pressure of patients with amagnitude of>30mmHg the mortality correct with risk (OR=8.667).(2) The death/disability rate of step-down margin (21-30) mmHg is5.76times than the blood pressureamplitude (0-10) mmHg in three months’ follow-up;similarly, the buck amplitude (>30)mmHg in blood pressure is7.2times than amplitude (0-10) mmHg.(3) when magnitude ofthe changes of blood pressure (>30) mmHg, the recurrence rate. is increasing (4) In thehospitalized with center-derived embolic cerebral infarction patients according to TOASTadmitted to hospital within24hours has the least decrease in diastolic blood r pressure.Lowering too much may be the independent risk factors of the patients’ poor prognosiswhich with small arteries admitted to hospital within24hours (OR>1).(5)The bloodpressure fluctuate significantly within24hours seems appeared in group that alte more overthan30mmHg (6) With the increasing of the age, blood pressure fluctuations among24-hours’ are more obvious. Conclusions Blood pressure reduced too much may be theindependent risk factor of poor prognosis in patients with acute ischemic stroke. Thesepatients need to stabilize blood pressure within24hours after stroke, especially in elder people.
