Objective:To investigate the possible clinical factors contributing to PGS aftersubtotal gastrectomy of elderly patients. Focus on the following laparoscopic andtraditional open on the postoperative effect of PGS.Methods:The clinical data from cases of PGS and non-PGS who underwent operationduring recent2years were analyzed with binary logistic regression.after subtotalgastrectomy were reviewed retrospectively.Results:PGS should be related to a variety of factors. The high morbility of PGS wasfound in the cases whose pyloric obstruction and low-albuminemia in perioperativeperiod,taking Billroth Ⅱgastroenterostomy,with open gastrectomy.Conclusion: The elderly patients PGS is affected by many factors after gastrectomy.Laparoscopic compared with open operation on gastrointestinal motility in rats withlighter.
