The field experiment proceeded in the agricultural park of Anhui Agricultural University from2011to2012. Tsuen Silver2insect-resistant hybrid cotton was researched for effects of loss-control fertilizer on physiological and biochemical characters and yield of cotton to discuss the mechanism of physiology of cotton. The experiment provided relevant theory with a view to loss-control fertilizer of high yield cultivation. Research results were as follows:1. Accumulation of Dry MatterGrowing period of dry matter accumulation dynamic curves of three treatments showed "S" type distribution and three treatments had the same trend. There was not distinctive difference among the treatments from Seeding stage to Bud stage, a greater difference between three treatments from full flower stage to boll opening stage. Dry matter accumulation was found to be the fastest and the most from full flower stage to boll opening stage of vegetative and reproductive organs of the treatments. A greater difference between vegetative and reproductive organs of the treatments from full flower stage to boll opening stage, the dry matter accumulation of loss-control fertilizer was higher compared with the control, under two types of loss-control fertilizer, loss-control fertilizer as basal and first blooming and covered fat as topdressing was higher compared with loss-control fertilizer as basal and peak blooming as topdressing.2. Photosynthetic CharacteristicsThe dynamic changes of the treatments of the content of chlorophyll(a+b) in trend were consistent in the whole growth period. There was no marked difference among the treatments from Seeding stage to Bud stage. Main stem leaves and fruiting branch leaves of the content of chlorophyll(a+b) of two loss-control fertilizer treatments were significantly higher than compared with the control from full flower stage to boll opening stage, it was found that the growth-decline trends of leaf area index of the treatments were generally similar, leaf area index got to the Maximum at full flower stage, and leaf area index also declined from boll opening stage. Compared to the CK, growth of leaf area index of loss-control fertilizer treatments was mainly in the early stage, however leaf area index fell Slower after the full bloom. The net photosynthetic rate, transpiration rate and stomatal conductance of the treatments in cotton development stages rise first and then fall, it got to the Maximum from full flower stage, compared with the CK, two kinds of loss-control fertilizer treatments significantly increased the content of photosynthetic rate, transpiration rates, stomata conductance at full flower stage and peak bollling stage, thus improved photosynthetic rate at the community level. Especially, here was the advantage of the treatment of loss-control fertilizer as basal and first blooming and covered fat.3. Soluble sugar and Antioxidant activities of antioxidant enzymesThe content of the soluble sugar of cotton bud and stem increased gradually during early growth stage, contrast was the lowest of all. It was found that the main stem leaves and fruiting branch leaves of the content of the soluble sugar of the treatments got to the maximum at full flower stage. Compared with the CK, loss-control fertilizer treatments increased the content of soluble sugar, enhanced SOD、POD activities and decreased the accumulation of MDA in the middle or later period, which was beneficial to lower active oxygen injury to cell envelope. Here was the advantage of the treatment of loss-control fertilizer as basal and first blooming and covered fat.4. Yield CharactersCompared with the CK, the increased bolls per plant under two types of loss-control fertilizer were5.32and3.03, boll weight were increased by7.65%, and6.16, and the lint cotton yields were increased by6.61%,4.96%under two types of loss-control fertilizer, loss-control fertilizer as basal and first blooming and covered fat as topdressing compared with loss-control fertilizer as basal and peak blooming as topdressing, lint cotton yield are increased by1.57%.
